The Lad-Saf DBI-SALA 3M swaged cable is the heart of the Lad-Saf vertical safety system: it is the fixed lifeline the climber's detachable sleeve rides on. This 9.5 mm (3/8 in) cable has a 7 x 19 construction, seven strands of nineteen wires in stainless steel, preformed regular lay. The 7 x 19 lay multiplies the fine wires for a flexible, easy-to-handle cable, while stainless steel gives excellent corrosion resistance. It offers a 12,000 lb minimum breaking strength and suits corrosive environments that need a flexible cable: exposed outdoors, seaside, chemical settings, telecom towers. Factory swaged and ready to install.
