The Lad-Saf DBI-SALA 3M vertical cable safety system instructions and label plate 6100252 is the inspection plate for Lad-Saf vertical safety systems. Made of aluminum, it carries the system instructions and identification and attaches to the bracket to support inspection tracking. It features a 3M Connected Safety ID that simplifies equipment tracking and management throughout its service life.
The Lad-Saf vertical cable safety system brackets have been redesigned to simplify and speed up installation, with up to 72% fewer parts than previous models. The pre-swaged cable is offered in various lengths and types, and the mounting brackets adapt to multiple rung profiles, sizes and spacings. The top and bottom brackets are sold together as a system to simplify ordering, with an integrated fall arrest anchor point on the top bracket providing 100% tie-off capacity.
On a permanent fall arrest system, a legible inspection plate is essential for regulatory tracking. It shows the system information, inspection dates and the identification needed for traceability. The 6100252 plate attaches to the Lad-Saf system and, thanks to its 3M Connected Safety ID, allows the equipment inspection history to be recorded and consulted reliably.
The plate must remain legible and firmly attached to the system. Check that it is not worn, corroded or detached. A formal inspection of the complete system by a competent person other than the user is required at least once a year, per 3M manufacturer instructions and applicable provincial regulations. Any illegible plate must be replaced. See our services to learn more.
Clean the plate with water and mild soap, then let it dry. Do not paint or cover the instructions or the ID. Store the equipment in a clean, dry place. Follow the 3M user manual instructions for system maintenance.

The wind-turbine technician climbs several storeys inside the nacelle up a vertical ladder, helmet and harness always on. A wrong move or unsuitable equipment is enough to turn a routine climb into a serious fall. On this type of job site, he wears his full personal protective equipment: a Class L sternal-D-ring safety harness (FPH111319XCALP) that keeps him facing the ladder, cut-resistant gloves (G132), safety glasses (YA12E93102), a protective helmet (TA80) held by its chin strap (TA14CS), a high-visibility garment (V139FN) and hearing protection, earplugs (O1100).
To build the complete vertical fall arrest system, pair this product with the other components of the Lad-Saf range: the Lad-Saf X3 sleeve (FPA5000338); a flexible lifeline counterweight (FPA5901583); the Lad-Saf system (FPA6100219); a stainless-steel pole cable guide (FPA6100136); an intermediate galvanized or stainless cable guide; an intermediate galvanized pole cable guide (FPA6100430); and an end-of-line cable guide. Also plan a RollGliss R550 rescue and descent device (FPLR5503325) for controlled descent, and mark off the area at the base of the structure with a DANGER barricade tape (ECT3RE9).
