Its revolutionary goggle allowed him to outfit the German 1936 Summer Olympic athletes. Uvex brand was officially launched in Fürth, Bavaria, in 1956. It has always been specialised in the field of eye protection, but since the turn of the millennium, Uvex has diversified its activities in the field of feet protection, hand protection, head protection and sports equipment. The US Uvex division now belongs to the great Honeywell family.
