"Sortie" Emergency Exit Light 120 V Without Battery, Steel Casing

This AimLite "Sortie" emergency exit light marks an emergency exit with red text in a sturdy white steel casing. Compliant with the CSA standard, it is the economy model without an internal battery : it suits buildings where back-up power is provided by a centralized source. The sign is lit by very low-consumption, long-life LED bulbs.

It includes two sliding faceplates with the "Sortie" cut-out, allowing single-face (wall) or double-face (ceiling) installation. Each plate is held by a screw and fitted with pre-cut directional arrows, to be punched out as needed to indicate the evacuation direction.

Power Supply of the Battery-Free Model

The sign requires a 120 V 60 Hz supply. Without an internal battery, it must be connected to a 6 V, 12 V or 24 V DC back-up supply to stay lit during a power failure. The LED bulbs ensure minimal consumption.

Important: French Exit Signs in Quebec
