This 6 V 36 W emergency lighting unit is equipped with 2 LED spotlights of 3 W that switch on automatically during a power failure to light the evacuation path. Compliant with ACNOR (CSA) requirements, it has a sealed lead-dioxide battery and a dust-proof relay ; it requires no maintenance and offers a service life of about 5 years. Made by AimLite EBST-2L.

Powered by a 120 V AC source in normal operation, the unit switches to its battery during a failure. It includes one 6 V 5 Ah battery (LB65). The higher capacity of this model suits installations requiring greater autonomy or a larger number of remote lighting heads.
