With a stainless steel bowl, a handheld spray hose, a tailpiece and a P-trap.
Certified ANSI Z358.1-2009. Minimum flow exceeds 3.0 GPM (11.4 L/min). It does not include a device for controlling water temperature. The handheld spray hose is considered a supplement for the eye/face wash station and does not replace a full-body emergency shower.
Ideal for laboratories, medical facilities, industries, workshops, garages, airports, food processing plants, paper mills, and any other places where workers risk being exposed to dust, particulates or dangerous materials.
This eye/face wash station is wall-mounted and keeps the floor area cleared. Its single-step activation simply requires a push on the large handle, leaving a user’s hands free once turned on. The spray heads have a unique elongated design, with multiple water jets, that cover more area than traditional face wash spray heads and facilitate face rinsing. The handheld 2.4 m (8 ft) spray hose allows to rinse the face and the body. This eye/face wash station is also barrier-free, for use by people in wheelchairs.
The wash station has separate pipes for water intake and drain, and ensures a safe, steady flow of water, even if the water supply pressure varies between 30 and 90 PSI. The bowl is made of heavy-duty stainless steel. The spray heads are equipped with strainers to filter water particulates, and with antimicrobial protection. Yellow and gray plastic covers protect the spray heads from dust. Pipes are made of galvanized steel protected by a yellow Bradtec covering.
The manufacturer recommends the installation of a thermostatic valve in order to comply with ANSI Z358.1-2009 standards.A thermostatic valve keeps rinsing water at a lukewarm temperature. Rinsing water should not be too cold (for more comfort while rinsing for the minimum required rinsing time of 15 minutes) nor too hot (to avoid aggravating eye or face injuries and to avoid scalding).
Designed with a durable steel bowl and equipped with a manual washing system that meets the ANSI Z358.1-2009 standard, this station ensures efficient and prompt cleansing in case of an emergency. Provide your team with peace of mind through reliable and high-quality equipment.
Make safety a priority.
When an employee is exposed to contaminants affecting the eyes or face, rapid response is essential. This wall-mounted eye and face wash provides immediate access to emergency rinsing without taking up floor space. Its multi-stream spray design covers a wider surface area than many traditional face wash models, making facial rinsing easier, while the 2.4 m (8 ft) personal wash hose provides additional rinsing for the face and body.
The PD19224P model is ANSI Z358.1-2009 approved and provides a minimum flow rate greater than 3.0 GPM (11.4 L/min) at 30 PSI. It can be used in laboratories, medical environments, workshops, garages, airports, processing plants, and other workspaces requiring compliant eye and face rinsing equipment. The hand-held personal wash hose is considered an accessory to the eye and face wash and does not replace an emergency body shower. This model does not automatically control water temperature. The manufacturer therefore recommends adding a thermostatic valve to help maintain a proper flushing temperature during the minimum recommended 15-minute rinse period.
