Certified ANSI Z358.1-2009. Minimum flow exceeds 3.0 gpm (11.4 L/min). It does not include a device for controlling water temperature.
Ideal for laboratories, medical facilities, industries, workshops, and any other places where workers risk being exposed to dust, particulates or dangerous materials.
This eye/face wash station is wall-mounted and keeps the floor area cleared. Its single-step activation simply requires a push on the large handle, leaving a user’s hands free once turned on. The hinged dust cover tilts open at the same time as the handle moves. The spray heads have a unique elongated design, with multiple water jets, that cover more area than traditional face wash spray heads and facilitate face rinsing. This eye/face wash station is also barrier-free, for use by people in wheelchairs.
The wash station has separate pipes for water intake and drain, and ensures a safe, steady flow of water, even if the water supply pressure varies between 30 and 90 PSI. The bowl is made of yellow impact-resistant plastic. The spray heads are equipped with strainers to filter water particulates, and with antimicrobial protection. Pipes are made of galvanized steel protected by a yellow Bradtec covering.
The manufacturer recommends the installation of a thermostatic valve in order to comply with ANSI Z358.1-2009 standards. A thermostatic valve keeps rinsing water at a lukewarm temperature. Rinsing water should not be too cold (for more comfort while rinsing for the minimum required rinsing time of 15 minutes) nor too hot (to avoid aggravating eye or face injuries and to avoid scalding).
Designed to meet the highest standards, this eyewash and face wash station is equipped with a plastic bowl and dust cover, ensuring optimal protection. Compliant with ANSI Z358.1-2009 standards, it guarantees efficient and safe use in case of an emergency. Perfect for industrial and commercial environments, this eyewash and face wash station is an essential choice for any company concerned about the well-being of its employees.
Make safety a priority.
When an employee is exposed to contaminants affecting the eyes or face, rapid response is essential. This wall-mounted eye and face wash provides immediate access to emergency rinsing without taking up floor space. Its dust cover opens automatically during activation, and its multi-stream spray design covers a wider surface area than many traditional face wash models, making facial rinsing easier while also providing effective eye flushing.
The PD19224PDCFW model is ANSI Z358.1-2009 approved and provides a minimum flow rate greater than 3.0 GPM (11.4 L/min) at 30 PSI. It can be used in laboratories, clinics, industrial settings, and other workspaces requiring compliant eye and face rinsing equipment. However, this model does not automatically control water temperature. The manufacturer therefore recommends adding a thermostatic valve to help maintain a proper flushing temperature during the minimum recommended 15-minute rinse period.
