The Miller H100 H13110023 harness is intended for workers with a large build who need a fall arrest harness in size 2XL/3XL. CSA certified class A and compliant with ANSI Z359.11-2014, it carries a steel back D-ring for connecting the fall arrest system. Its 1-3/4 in polyester webbing closes with tongue buckles on the leg straps and a pass-through buckle on the chest strap. A fall indicator shows, during inspection, a harness that has been through a fall. The published capacity reaches 420 lb / 190.51 kg.
For finish carpenters on a commercial construction site, scaffold erectors, farm building construction workers and plant maintenance staff whose build calls for size 2XL/3XL. The harness connects through its back D-ring to the fall arrest device selected according to the available clearance and anchorage point.
Before each use, inspect the webbing, stitching, steel back D-ring, buckles and fall indicator. A deployed indicator, a cut, a burn or a deformed buckle means the harness must be removed from service. Have the harness periodically inspected by a competent person. Store it hanging, dry, away from sunlight and chemicals, and follow the Miller instructions for cleaning.
It comes in size 2XL/3XL.
Its published capacity is 420 lb / 190.51 kg.
It is CSA certified class A and compliant with ANSI Z359.11-2014.
It shows during inspection a harness that has been through a fall. The harness is then removed from service.
The back D-ring is steel and the polyester webbing is 1-3/4 in wide.
For a carpenter wearing this harness while setting roof trusses, plan for 3M Virtua Max bifocal glasses (YA11515) for reading plans and foam nitrile-coated TenActiv gloves (GS21TXUFN). A fluorescent orange 11-pocket surveyor vest (VV57), a 3M 8577 respirator (R8577) with a Cool Flow valve for wood cutting and corded Classic 311-1110 earplugs (OA111) are added according to the tasks. Black self-adhesive anti-slip tape (ECT748) secures the steps of the temporary access.
Also compare the Miller Revolution (FPHRKNAR/QC/UBK) harness with quick-connect buckles, the Peakworks basic (FPH10022A) harness with grommet leg straps and the Miss Miller harness designed for women (FPE570/URN). For rescue, the R550 Rollgliss (FPLR550) device with integrated raising completes the plan. To set an overhead anchorage from the ground, the DBI-SALA First-Man-Up anchor pole (FPLR2100452X) completes the equipment.
