The 3M Speedglas 06-0400-51 headband replaces the complete suspension of your 9100 series helmet in one step: front part, ratchet rear part and pivots arrive already assembled. 3M specifies it for the 9100, 9100-Air, 9100 FX and 9100 FX-Air helmets. The ratchet adjusts from 50 to 64 cm and gives the helmet stable support again. Available individually or in a case of 5, with the 06-0400-54 rear part (06-0400-54) sold separately.
No returnable if used. For more information about our return policy, please refer to the Orders and Returns.

The 3M Speedglas 06-0400-51 headband is the complete suspension for 9100 series welding helmets, supplied with its parts already assembled: front part, ratchet rear part and pivot mechanisms. When a worn suspension lets the helmet slip or tilt, replacing it in one piece immediately restores stable support and precise adjustment, without dismantling part by part. 3M specifies this headband for the 9100, 9100-Air, 9100 FX and 9100 FX-Air helmets, and the ratchet adjustment covers head sizes from 50 to 64 cm. Available individually or in a case of 5 to equip a whole shop.
This headband serves welders who wear a 9100 helmet all day in metal fabrication, industrial maintenance, construction or heavy infrastructure projects. It follows the helmet through all its tasks: welding, grinding, assembly and facility maintenance. Shops that manage several helmets keep a case of 5 on hand to put a station back into service without waiting.
The 06-0400-51 attaches to the shell of 9100 helmets through its two pivots. Its components are also sold separately for targeted maintenance: the 06-0400-54 ratchet rear part (06-0400-54) and the 06-0400-52 pivots (06-0400-52). Complete the assembly with the 46-0200-54 sweatband (R46-0200-54), which the 3M 9100 instructions list with this headband.
Before each use, check that the headband shows no cracks or broken parts and that the ratchet holds its setting. Clean it with lukewarm water and mild soap, without solvents, then let it dry. Replace it as soon as a part is damaged or the helmet no longer holds its position: 3M reminds users to fit only genuine Speedglas parts.

It is supplied complete with its parts assembled: front part, ratchet rear part and pivots.
3M specifies it for the 9100, 9100-Air, 9100 FX and 9100 FX-Air helmets.
The ratchet adjusts the headband from 50 to 64 cm head circumference.
It is the same headband. The case groups 5 suspensions to equip several helmets or keep a reserve.
Choose it separately: the 46-0200-54 sweatband fits this headband and is changed more often.
The welder adjusting this headband keeps clear Virtua Max safety glasses (YA11329) under the helmet and a flame-resistant Nomex cap (V308) under the shell. The H505B earmuff (H505B) is worn with the helmet, split-leather welding gloves (G601) protect the hands and an 8212 welding respirator (R8212) can help reduce exposure to certain metal-fume particles, only after contaminants and concentrations have been assessed and with proper fit within a respiratory protection program. It does not protect against gases or vapours and does not supply oxygen; the absence of an Adflo system is not enough to validate its selection.
