The 3M Speedglas 06-0400-55 battery holder keeps the two CR2032 batteries in the cassette of 9100 welding filters, such as the 9100XXi (R06-0000-30i) filter. Battery orientation is marked on it, and it is pulled out with a small screwdriver when changing the batteries. A cracked or lost holder puts the filter out of service: keep some in reserve. Dark blue, available in a bag of 2 or a bag of 10 for maintaining a fleet of helmets.
No returnable if used. For more information about our return policy, please refer to the Orders and Returns.

The 3M Speedglas 06-0400-55 battery holder keeps the two CR2032 lithium batteries in the cassette of 9100 welding filters. The 3M 9100 instructions explain it: to change the batteries, you remove the filter cassette and pull out the battery holders with a small screwdriver; battery orientation is marked on each holder. A cracked or lost holder stops the filter from working: keeping spares on hand puts a helmet back into service in minutes. Dark blue part available in a bag of 2 or a bag of 10 for shops that maintain several filters.
The battery holder is used to maintain 9100 welding filters in fabrication shops, industrial maintenance, construction and heavy infrastructure projects. It is changed with the batteries when the low battery indicator flashes or when a holder is damaged. The bag of 10 suits maintenance departments that manage a fleet of helmets.
The 06-0400-55 battery holder fits in the cassette of 9100 filters, such as the 9100X (R06-0000-20) filter or the 9100XXi (R06-0000-30i) filter. It is not part of the headband: it belongs to the welding filter.
Replace the batteries as soon as the low battery indicator flashes or the LEDs no longer respond to the buttons. Remove the filter cassette, pull out the battery holders with a small screwdriver and follow the marked battery orientation. Replace a cracked or distorted holder. After a battery change, the filter returns to its factory settings.
