The 3M Speedglas 25-0400-55 air duct tube brings breathable air into 9100-Air helmets, from the tube of the Adflo unit or air supply. Its length adjusts to the welder and a new duct restores a steady flow when the old one leaks. Genuine black part sold individually, specific to the 9100-Air. Pair it with the face seal (R25-0099-28) of the same helmet.
No returnable if used. For more information about our return policy, please refer to the Orders and Returns.

The 3M Speedglas 25-0400-55 air duct tube brings breathable air into 9100-Air welding helmets. Connected to the breathing tube of the Adflo powered air-purifying unit or a breathable air supply, it directs the flow toward the welder's breathing zone, and its length adjusts to the user's preference. When the duct cracks, distorts or leaks, air arrives less well: a new duct restores the comfort and respiratory protection of the helmet. Genuine black part sold individually, specific to the 9100-Air and distinct from the 26-0400-55 duct of the 9100 FX-Air.
This duct is used to maintain 9100-Air helmets in fabrication shops, industrial maintenance, construction and heavy infrastructure projects. It accompanies welding, grinding and assembly where fumes call for respiratory protection. Keeping one in reserve avoids taking a complete unit out of service for a single worn part.
On the 9100-Air helmet, the 25-0400-55 duct works with the face seal (R25-0099-28). It receives air through a breathing tube such as the long self-adjusting tube (RSG-30WL).
Inspect the duct before each use: no damage, no air leaks. After use, wipe the helmet with a damp cloth, without rinsing, immersing or using solvents. Replace the duct as soon as it is damaged, distorted or leaking.
No. The 9100 FX-Air uses the 26-0400-55 duct; the 25-0400-55 is specific to the 9100-Air.
With the Adflo powered air-purifying unit or a breathable air supply connected to the 9100-Air helmet.
No. The 25-0099-28 face seal is ordered separately.
Yes. 3M states that the length adjusts to the welder's preference.
As soon as it is damaged, distorted or leaking air.
With the 9100-Air, the breathing air comes from the Adflo; the welder wears clear Privo glasses (YA12261) under the helmet and Endura split-leather gloves (G603) with 15 inch cuffs. A navy flame-resistant FR-Tech shirt (V131), flame-resistant cargo pants (V7762) and the earmuff (OH505B) complete the outfit.
