The 3M Speedglas 06-0700-85 air diffuser distributes breathable air inside 9100 FX-Air helmets. Placed at the outlet of the 26-0400-55 air (26-0400-55) duct, it guides the flow supplied by the Adflo powered unit or the breathable air supply toward the breathing zone. A damaged diffuser is replaced to restore steady circulation behind the shield. Genuine black part sold individually, reserved for the 9100 FX-Air.
No returnable if used. For more information about our return policy, please refer to the Orders and Returns.

The 3M Speedglas 06-0700-85 air diffuser is the part that distributes breathable air inside 9100 FX-Air welding helmets. Placed at the outlet of the air duct, it guides the flow supplied by the powered or supplied-air system toward the breathing zone, for a steady, cool feeling behind the shield. When the diffuser is damaged or distorted, the air is less evenly distributed: replacing it restores the comfort 3M intended. Black part sold individually, designed only for 9100 FX-Air helmets.
The diffuser is used to maintain 9100 FX-Air helmets used with an Adflo powered air-purifying respirator or a breathable air supply. It is found in fabrication, industrial maintenance, construction and heavy infrastructure shops, for welding as well as grinding. The maintenance lead keeps it with the other air-circuit parts.
On the 9100 FX-Air helmet, the 06-0700-85 diffuser works with the 26-0400-55 air (26-0400-55) duct and the 26-0099-28 face seal (26-0099-28). Air arrives through the breathing tube, for example the self-adjusting SG-30W (RSG-30W) tube.
After use, wipe the inside of the helmet with a damp cloth, without rinsing, immersing or using solvents. Inspect the diffuser and air circuit before each shift: a cracked, distorted or loose part is replaced immediately to keep the air supply evenly distributed.
No. It is designed for 9100 FX-Air helmets; the 9100-Air has its own air-circuit parts.
It distributes the breathable air coming from the duct toward the breathing zone of the helmet.
No. The 26-0400-55 duct is ordered separately.
Wipe with a damp cloth, without rinsing, immersion or solvents, then inspect before each shift.
As soon as it is cracked, distorted or no longer held correctly in place.
With an FX-Air helmet, the breathing air comes from the Adflo; the welder adds SecureFit SF401 glasses (YASF401) under the visor and leather welding gloves (G605) with a wing thumb. A flame-resistant FR-Tech shirt (V129), Kevlar sleeves (VS21P) with a thumb hole and the H505B earmuff (H505B) complete the outfit.
