Delta Plus manufacturer code: LV120G.
The Delta Plus DAYAK LV120G anchor bar creates a temporary anchor point in a door or window frame, without drilling. Made of galvanized steel, it clamps between the jambs with a movable screw lug, on an opening of 63 to 123 cm (24 13/16 to 48 7/16 in). It is laid on the floor in front of a door or on the sill of a window, on the side opposite the work area, and its anchor triangle receives the connector of the fall arrest or restraint system. It is rated for 2 users at the same time under CEN/TS 16415:2013.
Work near an opening at height: window replacement, window cleaning, renovation, building maintenance, or any task where no permanent anchor exists near a door or window. Used for restraint or fall arrest with an energy absorber limiting the arrest force to 6 kN, in one direction only.
Place the bar on the side opposite the work area, laid on the floor in front of a door or on the sill of a window. Press the fixed lug against one jamb, then tighten the movable screw lug against the other jamb. The supporting structure must withstand at least 13 kN; maximum deflection is 15 mm. Never connect the bar directly to the harness: always use a fall arrest or restraint system. Have the structure checked by a competent person and follow the manufacturer's instructions.
Before each use, check the bar, lugs, clamping screw and anchor triangle for deformation, cracks, corrosion or damaged threads. A periodic examination by a competent person is required at least every 12 months. Remove from service any bar that is damaged or has arrested a fall. Indicative service life: 20 years maximum from the date of manufacture.
Clean with clear water, wipe and let air dry. Store in a clean, dry place away from corrosive products.
No, the bar clamps between the jambs with a movable screw lug, without drilling.
From 63 to 123 cm (24 13/16 to 48 7/16 in).
2 users at the same time under CEN/TS 16415:2013, 1 user under EN 795.
No, always through a fall arrest or restraint system.
The bar is used in one direction only, for restraint or fall arrest with an energy absorber limiting the arrest force to 6 kN.
Working at height means living with an open drop underfoot with every move. A single lapse on a roof, a lift or a steel frame can turn into a fall of several metres. On this type of job site, the worker wears full personal protective equipment: a safety harness (FPH140101XCALP) connected to the anchor point, protective gloves (GS21TXUFNLTC) suited to the task, safety glasses (YASF401), a protective helmet (TA82) against impacts, fitted with its retention strap (TA80CS) to stay in place at height and a high-visibility work garment suited to work at height (VV6991).
To build the complete fall protection system, connect this anchor to an ExoFit harness (FPH140103XCALP), linked by an energy-absorbing lanyard (FPL5400) or a self-retracting lifeline (FPLR3101547); depending on the surface, complete it with another anchor (FPA822) or, for another opening, a removable for door or window frames (FPA831). Also plan a rescue Rollgliss R550 device for height with a hand wheel and integrated hoist (FPLR550, 100 ft of rope), and mark off the work zone with a DANGER barricade tape (ECT3YE7), supplemented by a sign "Safety harness mandatory" (ECO130).
