The Advanced 9503094 DBI-SALA® 3M carry bag is specifically designed for the 7 ft (2.1 m) Advanced tripod used in confined spaces. Its blue and yellow color ensures excellent visibility on job sites and facilitates quick identification of critical rescue equipment. It protects the aluminum tripod during transport between intervention sites and storage in a warehouse or service vehicle.

This product is a complementary accessory compliant with the handling requirements of DBI-SALA® equipment intended for confined spaces per CSA Z1220-17.

Confined space response teams must often transport their tripod between several points: between vehicle and municipal pit, between floors of a plant, between sumps of a treatment plant. An aluminum tripod without a bag is exposed to impacts, dust, moisture and winter de-icing salt. The Advanced 9503094 bag protects the structure and facilitates single-person handling thanks to its reinforced handles and ergonomic straps.

Air quality warning for confined spaces:
The bag transports the equipment, but obviously does not protect the worker from atmospheric risks. Before each entry into a confined space, air quality must be validated using a reliable multi-gas detector like the MSA Altair 4X (DETEC4G). Mandatory measurement of O₂, LEL, CO and H₂S, with continuous monitoring during work. Quebec OSH Regulation (art. 297 to 312) also requires ventilation, surface attendant and written emergency plan. Always store your multi-gas detector in the same vehicle as the tripod bag: a tripod without a detector is an incomplete device.

The technical canvas used for this bag combines abrasion resistance, lightness and ease of cleaning. It withstands repeated friction against the ground, vehicle doors and site edges without tearing. The fabric is treated to resist moisture and mildew, which extends its useful life in a service vehicle exposed to Quebec climate variations. Reinforced stitching and metal buckles ensure strength at stress points (handles, shoulder straps).

Routine inspection before each use. Check the integrity of stitching, handles and zippers. The bag is not part of the fall protection system itself, but its good condition contributes to protecting critical equipment. Does the bag also fit the 9 ft tripod?

No, this bag is designed for the 7 ft tripod only. For the 9 ft model, use bag FPLR9503095, sized for that height.

Can the winch and SRL be stored in the same bag?

The bag is sized for the tripod. The winch and SRL can fit disassembled, but it is recommended to keep these accessories in their original packaging to avoid impacts between components.

Is the bag waterproof?

The bag resists splashes and light rain, but is not waterproof to immersion. Avoid leaving it in a puddle or exposed to prolonged rain. Always dry it before storage.
