This glove features a reinforced thumb for a better thermal protection. Seams located in critical places are sewn with Kevlar® thread for better durability. This glove may protect you from temperatures up to 350°F (175°C).
Goatskin is a thin light, but wind-proof and resistant to wear and tear. This material is often used to produce gloves since it offers a good protection at a fair price while providing a good tactile sensitivity. Goatskin is more hard-wearing than other because of the natural lanolin produced by goats. Lanolin is referred to as wool fat or wax and is known to give a pleasing tactile finish and a better suppleness.
This glove is recommended for applications such as precision work with a welding pistol as in the manufacturing sector.
Do not use for:
It is not recommended to immerse this glove in water or any other liquid brought to boil since their fabric only offers a limited protection against heat conduction. Even though leather provides quite a good protection against heat, it does not rule out the risk of burns or any other mechanical hazards.
Maintenance and service life:
It is not recommended to wash this glove since water and soap tend to rob leather of its natural oils which makes it stiffen and become brittle. If the nature of your work requires that you wash them, we recommend that you dry clean them.
