This monthly inspection tag is the standard and economical solution for documenting the mandatory checks of your portable fire extinguishers. Designed for a one-year duration, it provides a clear and organized way to manage your building's internal safety maintenance schedule in English.
This inspection tag is commonly used where extinguishers must be inspected monthly. It is often the case for public spaces (where extinguishers may be vandalized) and for buildings with significant fire hazards.
The tag covers 4 years of monthly inspections (48 months). It is stamped with the markings “Fire extinguisher” and “Inspection record” and includes a field to indicate the extinguisher number. To use this tag, simply mark each monthly inspection with a hole punch or with a permanent marker.
Plastic is a material that is resistant to wear and weathering. This tag is therefore suitable for use indoors and outdoors. It is recommended to use the IPTAB metal tag ties to ensure this tag is secured to the extinguisher.

No. This tag is strictly for the monthly visual inspections performed by your on-site staff or owner. It is separate from the mandatory annual maintenance tag that must be applied by a certified technician.
Yes, insurance providers and building inspectors often require physical proof that fire extinguishers are checked monthly. This tag serves as the primary evidence of your due diligence.
Consistency is key to fire safety. When performing your monthly rounds, don't just sign the tag; ensure the pressure gauge is in the "green" zone, the safety pin is intact, and the nozzle is unobstructed. A meticulously maintained inspection tag demonstrates a high standard of safety culture within your organization.
