Peakworks 6 ft twin-leg leading-edge self-retracting lifeline with Dyneema webbing
The Peakworks twin-leg (Y) self-retracting lifeline is a personal fall limiter with two legs to stay "100% tied off" during transfers, equipped with an external energy absorber and a length of 6 ft (1.83 m). Its webbing is made of Dyneema® (0.8 in wide × 0.07 in thick), renowned for its cut resistance and suitable for leading-edge applications.

About the anchorage point
The anchorage point must be positioned according to the manufacturer's instructions for leading-edge applications. The user must assess the fall distance, the clearance below the worker and the anchorage strength (5000 lb). The twin-leg format keeps the worker tied off at all times when transferring between anchorages. For more information, consult the manufacturer's manual.
Self-retracting lifeline inspection
The worker is responsible for performing a routine inspection before each use. The worker must check the retraction and locking of the webbing, the fall indicator, the carabiners, and note any sign of degradation, wear or breakage. Replace the equipment at the first sign of failure. This SRL should also be inspected periodically by a qualified person other than the worker, according to the manufacturer's frequency and conditions. Self-retracting lifeline maintenance
For cleaning, use a mild soap and lukewarm water (37 °C). Do not use bleach or abrasive or chemical products. Keep the mechanism clean and dry. Air dry, without excessive heat, in a clean environment. Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight and to any source of contamination.
