The 3M Versaflo TR-802N is the TR-800 series blower only. Battery, filtration, belt, charger, tube, airflow indicator and headgear are excluded. Intrinsic safety requires, among other conditions, the battery properly secured with the tool and approved components.
No returnable if used. For more information about our return policy, please refer to the Orders and Returns.

The 3M Versaflo TR-802N blower replaces the motor portion of a TR-800 series system without purchasing an entire kit. It serves teams preparing equipment for finishing, painting or composite work. This unit is sold alone; power, filtration and carrying components must be planned separately. Its use in an intrinsically safe configuration requires the approved assembly conditions to be met, including a properly secured TR-830 battery.
The TR-802N addresses motor replacement within a TR-800 equipment fleet. Ordering the blower alone keeps other components separate for checking before reuse. This is not a kit already containing the battery, filter or headgear.
This replacement blower concerns equipment used for paint preparation, spray coating, composite finishing and welding in transportation work. Each workstation requires suitable filtration and headgear selection. The application name alone does not authorize entry into a classified area or determine the respiratory assembly.
Without a filter or cartridge, the blower alone provides no filtration against particulates, gases or vapours. Protection depends on the selected assembly. An air purifying system cannot correct oxygen deficiency. In an explosive atmosphere, intrinsic safety depends, among other conditions, on the TR-830 battery secured using TR-838 and all components approved for the relevant classification. Do not extend this property to another battery or the charger. If the configuration does not suit the hazard, have another approved solution selected before entry.

Not included: filter or cartridge, airflow indicator, belt, battery, charger, tube and headgear. Plan the TR-830 battery and TR-838 tool separately.
Replacing a blower within a Versaflo TR-800 fleet requires review of the complete combination, filtration and, where relevant, area classification. Personnel must understand assembly and battery fastening before functional checks. The complete system assembled with recognized components determines respiratory approval.
NIOSH approval concerns a complete approved respiratory combination. Intrinsic safety under UL 60079, 6th edition, 2013, applies to the blower with secured TR-830 battery and approved components: classes I, II, III, division 1, groups C D E F G, T4. These conditions are not a general authorization for every hazardous atmosphere.
Before using the replacement blower, examine its connection points and check the condition of components to be refitted. Complete assembly, battery fastening and functional checks prescribed by 3M for the exact configuration. Apply TR-800 cleaning and storage instructions without transferring an immersion procedure from another series. Remove damaged elements from service and check the assembly again after replacement.
The blower only. Plan the filter, airflow indicator, belt, battery, charger, tube and headgear separately.
The intended configuration requires the TR-830 battery properly secured using the TR-838 tool. Follow the instructions specific to the TR-800 assembly.
No. The filter or cartridge is not included. Contaminant protection is determined when selecting the complete configuration.
No. The conditions stated for the blower, its TR-830 battery and approved components must not be extended to the charger.
No. It belongs to an air purifying system and cannot remedy oxygen deficiency. That situation requires respiratory selection appropriate to the hazard.
For a technician preparing the replacement blower before finishing work, plan TenActiv gloves (GS21TXUFNLTC) with a leather thumb reinforcement for handling. Privo glasses (YA12262) with smoke lenses serve outdoor movement outside the headgear. An Independence ratchet helmet (TA14LR) remains separate equipment from the respiratory assembly, while an orange detachable 6-pocket vest (V486) and an orange cone (EPTCONE28B) with two reflective bands organize movement around the station.
To prepare TR-830 battery fastening, the TR-838 tool (RVTR838) is the identified blower complement. If a TR-800 assembly must instead be rebuilt, review separately the TR-813N durable (RVTR813) belt or TR-814N light (RVTR814) belt configurations without headgear, along with the TR-800-ECK easy clean (RVTR800ECK) kit and TR-800-HIK heavy industry (RVTR800HIK) kit. These assemblies are separate configuration options rather than components supplied with the blower alone.
