Use limitations

The TR-300+ system does not filter gases or vapours and supplies no oxygen. Do not use it in an oxygen deficient atmosphere. This kit is not intrinsically safe and is unsuitable for an explosive atmosphere. A different exposure requires an approved solution selected for the hazard without assuming a cartridge corrects oxygen deficiency. The S-960 assembly with an H-700 hard hat provides no electrical hazard protection. Wear the brim facing backwards without hard hat accessories not approved with S-960.

Care and service life

Inspect the S-607 textile, adapter, hard hat, belt and tube before checking the system with the TR-971. Do not wash the filter or prefilter or clean their media with compressed air. Do not immerse the blower or battery. Apply 3M cleaning instructions for the different elements and replace any no longer fit for use. BT-957 plugs support tube storage, and charging uses the TR-342N.

Supplied filtration is the TR-3712N HE particulate filter. The TR-300+ system does not filter gases or vapours.
