The Dexterity® NT glove combines a comfortable, breathable 15-gauge cotton knit with a blue nitrile coating on the palm and fingers for a dependable grip on wet and dry surfaces. Its patented THT™ (True Hand Technology) design follows the real physiognomy of the hand, reducing fatigue and improving dexterity for small-parts handling. It offers an ASTM/ANSI abrasion resistance level 3 and puncture resistance level 2 (EN388 3121), while remaining CFIA approved for food handling. The hypoallergenic cotton absorbs perspiration and suits sensitive skin, making it a versatile glove for the automotive, maintenance and light construction fields. Superior manufacturer's code: S15NT.
These gloves are available in sizes ranging from small (7) to double extra-large (11). Please select the size needed in the field located above. This glove has a puncture resistance level 2 and an abrasion resistance level 3 according to ASTM and ANSI standards. It is also approved for food handling by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).
This glove meets EN388 standards as for protection against mechanical hazards. This level of protection is expressed by a pictogram followed by four numbers, in this case 3121, where the resistance to abrasion is 3/4, the cut resistance is 1/5, the tear resistance is 2/4 and the puncture resistance is 1/4.
These knitted gloves are designed according to Superior's 'True Hand Technology' or THT™. This design perfectly fits the hand, since it takes into account the human hand physiognomy, that is, the crotch between the little finger and the ring finger is located just a little lower than the other finger crotches. This glove provides a dependable grip on wet and dry surfaces.
Cotton has a high water-absorbing capacity and can deal as well with sebum without getting damp. This fabric also has good breathable characteristics, it is hypoallergenic and it offers a nice touch and good comfort which suits perfectly those who have sensitive skin. Cotton has low thermal-conductivity, therefore in summer it prevents your skin from heating, and in winter it preserves the warmth of your body.
Nitrile is the best alternative to latex since it offers an excellent flexibility, a secure fit and unequalled toughness and comfort. Nitrile is in fact an elastomer synthetized by copolymerizing butadiene with acrylonitrile. This material is quite resistant to domestic products such as ammonia, fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, paints, solvents, oils, greasy substances and hydrocarbons. Nitrile also offers an excellent grip on dry surfaces and an average grip on wet surfaces.
This type of glove may be used in the car industry, maintenance, for small parts handling, in the construction field, etc.
Since the glove is partially covered, it is not recommended to submerge it in liquids. Please note that nitrile is not resistant at all to flames and when wet, its grip is reduced.
It is recommended to carry out a basic maintenance to extend the service life of your gloves. Simply wash them with lukewarm water, that is, 140°F/60°C, and a regular detergent. It is also recommended to rinse your glove with cold water after wash. You can then dry them at low temperature in a dryer. Never use bleach on this glove.
No. Since it is only partially coated (palm and fingers), submerging it is not recommended; nitrile also offers no resistance to flames.
Yes. It is approved for food handling by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).
Yes, the nitrile coating provides a dependable grip on dry and wet surfaces, though grip is reduced when the glove is very wet.
