Design:
These women's road safety overalls in bright yellow are designed for maximum visibility and enhanced safety with premium StarTech® retroreflective tape. This yellow vest features 50mm (2") silver Star Tech® retroreflective stripes and alternating fluorescent orange stripes. 2 vertical stripes at the front, 2 crossed X stripes at the back and a horizontal stripe at the waist. Made from robust polyester, these safety overalls are 3.5 oz/yr² (approx. 120 g/m²) thick, combining durability and lightness for all-day comfort. They feature a mesh ventilation zone at the thighs for better moisture wicking. Comfortable and adjustable, it has an elasticated waistband and shoulder straps for a perfect fit. 

The 19 inches two-way zipped front opening, protected by a brass snap storm flap, and the opening at the bottom of the trousers make it easy to put on boots thanks to its 28 inches long zip. The overalls also feature a radio strap and hammer loop, plus seven practical pockets for organisez storage: two back pockets, two chest pockets, two side pockets and a tool pocket, providing quick and easy access to your everyday clothes.

About its classification:

Fluorescent yellow (lime green) is highly visible during the day and in conditions with little natural light, such as dawn and dusk. In most situations, it also offers high contrast with the background. Being paler than orange, fluorescent yellow is more visible at night, although not as visible in the dark as reflective tape.

Silver retroreflective stripes are highly visible in low-light conditions, whether natural or artificial, because they reflect light back towards the source of the beam (torch, car headlights, etc.). They therefore offer the greatest safety at dawn, dusk and at night. However, they do not increase visibility during the day.

Complies with CSA standard Z96-15 class 2 level 2: This class is intended for workers who work in LOW or MODERATE RISK areas, and who require greater visibility in poor weather conditions or low light levels. If these overalls are used in combination with the complementary coat, the ensemble increases to class 3 level 2. This increases the range of compliance in the presence of vehicles at higher speeds.

Complies with ANSI/ISEA 107-2020 Class E is an American standard that applies to workers who work on roads or in areas where there are a lot of moving vehicles and equipment. Class 2 Type E is a category of VSHV that must have enough brightly colored fabric and light-reflecting stripes to make you clearly visible. The brightly colored fabric may be yellow-green, orange-red or red, and may or may not be fluorescent.  

The ANSI/ISEA 107-2020 standard provides guidelines for High Visibility Safety Apparel (HVSA) to improve worker visibility. 

Type E refers to a type of high-visibility safety garment that, when worn alone, does not meet the requirements of a single class. This is an important consideration for professionals who need maximum visibility in potentially hazardous working environments. If these overalls are used in combination with the complementary coat (V5999FJ), the ensemble increases to class R.
