This shroud is made of flexible clear plastic and saves time and money when performing clean-up or decontamination work. It allows using power tools such as drills and saws without creating a hazardous dust cloud. The dust shroud can be used with diamond drillbits up to 8" (20 cm) wide.

To use, simply connect the dust shroud to a vacuum attachment, cut the shroud opening to the required size and place the shroud over the drilling spot. A vertical slot may also be cut, for use when cutting drywall (Gyproc). While the vacuum is on, the suction effect will keep the shroud in place without requiring any other clamp. This dust shroud is also particularly useful when drilling holes in a ceiling.

This dust shroud is ideal for asbestos abatement. It is commonly used in Type 1 low-risk asbestos abatement.
