The 3M Speedglas G5-03 Pro 10-0100-00HH combines a welding helmet and H-700 hard hat for sites requiring head protection. The assembly allows the welding helmet to be raised during preparation without removing the hard hat. Front panel and side windows are included; choose a welding filter separately for the processes used.
No returnable if used. For more information about our return policy, please refer to the Orders and Returns.

When a site requires an H-700 hard hat, welding-helmet positioning must remain compatible with joint preparation and movement. The 3M Speedglas G5-03 Pro 10-0100-00HH configuration meets the needs of sites where the welder must wear a safety helmet. The G5-03 Pro helmet comes with the H-700 safety helmet, which serves as the suspension, along with its front panel and side windows. The welding filter is not included: 3M offers the G5-03 Pro with G5VC and G5TW filters in its other versions. 3M recommends this configuration for construction. Assembled with an approved filter, it combines eye, face and head protection in a single piece of equipment.
This configuration addresses welders who must keep a hard hat on throughout site work. G5-03 Pro is supplied in the H-700 version announced by 3M, avoiding an assembly built from supports with unestablished compatibility. The platform's adapter system helps position the welding helmet on the hard hat.
On a structural site, joint preparation, alignment inspection and welding require different views. The welding helmet can be raised for non-arc tasks while the hard hat remains on the head. Returning to welding should place the filter in front of the eyes without forcing excessive neck tilt.
Optical selection is deliberately separate. An approved G5TW or G5VC filter may serve different tack-welding or contrast preferences, but none of those functions is included in an unfiltered version. Head protection also does not add a respiratory supply to G5-03 Pro.
3M intends this configuration for construction. It suits structural welders working below other trades, rebar fitters on concrete sites and maintenance crews in industrial buildings where wearing a safety helmet is mandatory during welding. The helmet flips up on the hard hat between welds, without removing head protection.
Use the assembled G5-03 Pro system only between -5 and +55 °C. This limit applies to the helmet completed with an approved filter and components. Do not use it where contact with an open flame is possible.
Without a welding filter, the helmet is not ready for welding and does not protect against arc radiation. 3M excludes laser welding and heavy overhead work that exposes the wearer to molten metal. The equipment provides no respiratory protection.

Install a welding filter approved for the G5-03 Pro, with its protection plates; 3M offers this helmet with G5VC and G5TW filters in the 10-0100-30VC and 10-0100-30TW versions. Then adjust the H-700 hard hat on the head and check that the helmet tilts correctly and stays down during welding.
G5-03 Pro platform, model 10-0100-00HH, H-700 safety helmet, polyphthalamide (PPA) shell, black colour, side windows, front panel included. Weight: 1.722 lb / 0.781 kg. Assembled with an approved filter, the configuration meets ANSI Z87.1, CSA Z94.3, ANSI Z89.1 type I and CSA Z94.1 type I; without a filter, it is not ready for welding.
Try the assembly with the site's eyewear and other PPE, then check hard-hat retention and welding-helmet movement. Set adapter position according to the instructions; do not shorten a component or modify a support to achieve the desired position.
Fit the approved filter with its protection plates and check the view in the intended welding posture. Work at height also requires equipment and procedures specific to that task: wearing a hard hat does not replace fall protection. After an impact or exposure that damages the hard hat, follow its removal-from-service criteria. Check the welding shell, front panel and retainers separately even if they still appear serviceable.
Before each use, check that the helmet, H-700 hard hat and installed filter are undamaged and correctly assembled; a hard hat that has suffered an impact or a cracked shell must be removed from service. Do not immerse the equipment in water or spray liquid directly on it. Store it away from sunlight, heat and spatter.
Yes. The configuration includes the H-700 safety helmet with the G5-03 Pro helmet.
No. The welding filter is sold separately; choose a filter approved for the G5-03 Pro.
The 10-0100-00HH comes with the H-700 safety helmet, whereas the 10-0100-00SH comes with the X5000 helmet.
With an approved filter: ANSI Z87.1, CSA Z94.3, ANSI Z89.1 type I and CSA Z94.1 type I.
Yes, the welding helmet can be raised while the hard hat remains worn. Check assembly stability and positioning with your other PPE. For welding, an approved filter must be installed and the helmet correctly lowered; H-700 does not replace optical protection.
For a structural welder working below other trades with this hard hat mounted helmet, plan OX glasses (YA12166) to wear over prescription glasses and TenActiv cut-resistant gloves (GSTACXPNRT) with reinforced thumb for handling angle iron. Classic earplugs (OA101) fit without interfering with the H-700 hard hat, the 8511 respirator (R8511) with valve is added according to the fume assessment, and orange traffic cones (EPTCONE36) mark the area below the welding station.
The welding filter and its plates are selected by their exact 3M model for the G5-03 Pro, such as the G5VC 46-0000-30VC or the G5TW 46-0000-30TW. No spare part specific to this H-700 hard hat configuration is offered online yet.
